Kinetic Urban Environments (KUE) Tactical TrainingCourse description: Kinetic Urban Environments (KUE) is an advanced individual and co-operational shooting course with emphasis in the following disciplines: Cover-based shooting, transitional shooting, shooting on the move, unknown distance engagements, barricade shooting, break contact techniques, combatant mindset, limited exposure shooting, low-light shooting, communication, co-operational gun fighting techniques, Confined Areas Battle (also known as close quarters battle), Confined Area Shooting, fire and movement and other facets of kinetic environments. End state: Students will be able to control cognitive dissonance in kinetic urban environments by safely utilizing individual and co-operational tactics and weapon skills. Students will be ready in a crisis to use mind, body and weapon to neutralize threats or remove themselves and their loved ones from the crisis area. Emphasis is for students to understand why to do something rather than just how to do it. Student Expectations: This course is heavily based on becoming familiar with the uncomfortable aspects of kinetic environments. This will include heavy physical exertion and mental exhaustion and confusion. Heavy emphasis is placed on personal responsibility and safety of other while trying to complete objectives. Shooters looking to attend this course should be physically able to run, kneel and sit in awkward positions; recover from these positions. Students will be forced to build inter-student relationships and rely heavily on introspective weapons safety. Historically, combat is pass-fail. So, too, is this course. Pre-Requisites: Ares Armor Tactical Training Rifle I or equivalent; and Ares Armor Tactical Training Rifle II. Students are advised that there will be zero tolerance for unsafe or reckless behavior, and any shooter deemed unsafe will forfeit their course fee and will be excused from the course.
