Ares Armor Rudius Grip Deburr & Install
Deburring:
Due to the nature of an injection molding process and the wide range in specs of a 1911 magazine release there may be a small amount of deburring and fitting required when installing your magazine release. Small burs occur in an injection molded product in areas where there is a sliding piece in the mold.

By using a small, round edge, fine file and working it lightly inside the magazine release channel this will deburr; and fit the magazine release to the grip. Because of the large difference in specs on the magazine release, the amount of deburring or fitting will vary between customers.
Installation:
When installing your grip onto the Rudius frame our recommended method is as follows.
- Slide grip onto frame until holes in grip align with threaded holes on the frame.
- Start one upper grip screw by just a couple threads to hold in place.
- Thread in opposite side grip screw until tight.
- Tighten first screw until tight.
- Install and tighten screws in trigger guard area.
During test fitting and building of your Rudius this is not important; however on final assembly, a small amount of thread locker is recommended on your Rudius grip screws.
