Awsome Rail

This is an awsome rail. Has a very tight fit, no slop and locks right in to the receiver. I agree with the other review on the finish. Its a bit chalky but the whole gun got Cerakoted anyway...so no big deal. Thank you for selling US made parts. I WILL keep coming back!

This is a great rail for a great price. The only possible critque i could have, is the finish is not the best. But i like the rail and will buy more.

12 inch hand guard

Build #51... the 12 inch rail... its is beautiful, rock solid, well designed and manufactured.. it also comes complete... all of us love the look of this FF hand guard... we use Geissele most of the time but it is just two pricy for what it does, I mean a FF hand guard really does little to nothing to increase accuracy and that is the name of the game for us... we are all 600 and 1000 yard friends of Bill(if you know what I meen) but those days are gone and we build AR.s now... but if it don't shoot at least 1/2 MOA out to 330YDS its a piece of shit and we will not sell it(its a tomato stake to us)... all of our weapons are built with a lazer and a scope... on the down side the grove on the inside of the guard is larger than the recepticle hence the play in the picatiny rail when installed is not condusive to accept a lasor due to the barrel nut and hand guard marrige and play in the rail recepticle... I still give this hand guard a 5 plus rating because its so SEXY... all our best... Camp Stand Down Lives inc...

12" Harpe

Better than most $200 rails out there. Tight fit... Don't anticipate any rotation or slop when put through it's paces. I bought one for a friends upper... Going to pick one up for myself. Nice job on this one guys!

Harpe 12" Rail

First, I want to respond to the review by Rich on here... It's advertised as a 12" Rail... Not a 13" Rail! It's YOUR fault that you can't read! Ok... Now on to MY review! I got this in the mail yesterday and I was so very excited that I put it on my AR the same night! For the past couple weeks I had been thinking about getting a free float handguard for my AR to replace the 2 piece UTG quad that I had. Plus I wanted something longer so that I could take the front iron site off and put a low profile gas block on and use a flip up site that I bought a while back. So, the timing of this thing going on sale was more than perfect!!! Can't beat this price of $99 and you definitely can't beat the quality, versatility and durability and light weight! I LOVE IT!!! I only wish I could post pictures of my AR on here! I guess I'll have to post them on Ares' facebook page! So, go check em out! https://www.facebook.com/AresArmor The ONLY thing I have to complain about is the fact that I couldn't put my Kineti-Tech 6 1/2" barrel shroud back on because it wouldn't slide all the way back and inside the handguard because of the protruding slots on the inside of the handguard. But hopefully a trip to the gunsmith will fix the issue!

This is my new all time favorite upper. Incredibly versatile with with many different combinations of rail offering locations. So very impressed with the quality and durability at a reasonable price! I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

This is not a 13" handguard

First off, this handguard is not 13" long. I meausred it at 12" long and about 1.8" diameter. It's even stamped on the bottom "223-12L". I really wanted a 13" handguard but oh well. It is still quite nice and the quality is very good. I had one small ding in the at the receiver end of it but it wasn't bad, no biggie. The value is fantastic and even though it wasn't the length as advertised I will still use it and probably get another one for another project.
