Raider belt

Great belt, I bought is to be a to go belt for my vehicle, it is very comfortable and very easy to adjust. There is enough molle for anything you could ever need to hang off a war belt and great set up if using a drop rig, watch the video. I did get suspenders to go with it and it has so far surpassed my expectations.

Before buying this, the only battle belt I have used was the condor battle belt (huge p.o.s) so iv never handled the top of the line belts like from soe gear. However, after buying this, I don't want to. The quality of this for the price is outstanding. I wish I could rate the value even highe. For under $50 I was expecting to use this until I had enough money to get an soe belt. When I opened the box and handled it, my mind was blown. This is the only battle belt ill ever use. There isnt much bad things to say about it. The stitching is a little off in 1 or 2 spots. I had to really look or an imperfection to notice it however. And the buckle could be better. It's easy to change to another buckle if you want (witch is probably what ill do) but I don't see it breaking anytime soon. Iv just had bad luck with plastic buckles. Overall its a wonderful product. 10 out of 10

Good value: about the same price for similar items from other vendors. Buy from Ares and support their goals! The belt can be improved by swapping the direction of the pull adjustments so that they pull to the outside and tuck into the pockets.

More than I could hope for

Until now, my experience with belts had been a regular duty belt and the condor molle belt. Both had been disappointing for several reason and so my expectations were low. After outfitting this belt with everything I am VERY satisfied. For those who are looking for a good belt and unsure, allow me to extrapolate a bit by comparison. Width: The raider maintains a low profile around the waist while the condor widens in the small of your back. This made me feel like I was wearing a back brace. Belt: There is an integrated belt so no other purchases are required. This belt is also less rigid, adding to comfort but support is not compromised. Drop Leg Compatibility: Here is where this gear excels. There is access along the entire belt to a sown web belt core. The condor provides access in limited places, which can be problematic if the size is off. If you are in the market, get this belt. I wish I had this when I deployed. There I had the duty belt with a Blackhawk drop leg and would often get pinched between the belt and my armor. The comfort from the Raider is worth a lot more than 42.95...not saying you should raise the price.
