How is this Device different from others that have been
determined by ATF to be "Silencers"?
a. This device is intended to be used in compliance with Federal and State law.
You may pin and weld this device to a 10.5" barrel to make your barrel a
legal rifle length barrel or mount it without welding onto a 16� or longer
barrel.
b. This device is designed and intended to reduce felt recoil and muzzle climb.
c. This device is intended to be aesthetically AWESOME!
d. This device does not have threading on the forward portion of it, and is not
intended to be used as part of an assembly of a silencer, suppressor or
muffler.
e. This device does not diminish the sound of the firearm.
f. In an abundance of caution we have added anti-tamper features to restrict
the ability of one to misuse this product.
g. Misuse of this product voids the product warranty.
What is the legal definition of a "Silencer"?
18 U.S.C. 921(a)(24): DEFINITIONS (FIREARM MUFFLER AND FIREARM SILENCER) The terms �firearm silencer� and �firearm muffler� mean any device for silencing, muffling, or diminishing the report of a portable firearm, including any combination of parts, designed or redesigned, and intended for use in assembling or fabricating a firearm silencer or firearm muffler, and any part intended only for use in such assembly or fabrication.Will the ATF determine this to be a "Silencer"?
a. We are armed with previous determinations from FTB that view similar products not to be a silencer.
