AR15 Jig By: Mike on 08/16/2015 04:52:46 PM
This jig got the job done. The major limitations lay, mainly, in my drill press. I turned out a workable, albeit crude, lower that functions as it should. The instructions were adequate and understandable. My only gripe is that the plates are easily marred if the drill or mill bit touches it. This lead to rough edges and thin spots on the sides of the lower. Another gripe are the bolts used to hold the plates together didn't fit into the counter-sink. This causes the drill chuck to wander around the protruding bolt head. I feel I could work around this on my next build. |

AR15 Jig By: Dmeister on 03/16/2015 08:20:30 PM
By far the easiest to use and well built jig I have used. If you buy a few endmills and have a decent drill press, anyone can do this. Word of caution if using a drill press...Just take it very slow...Remove maybe a 16th of an inch at a time otherwise you are going to run into the plate or the arbor/chuck will fall out of your machine. Have a cheap digital micrometer, square for the drill table and a small air compressor (to blow the chips) and of course eye protection. |

AR-15 Jig By: Mougli on 02/24/2015 09:31:08 PM
The jig is of great quality and is easy to use. Unfortunately, the small set screws it comes with are far too short and caused the threads within the top plate holder to strip as I finished working on my first lower. They covered too little of the threaded surface area within the block so when securing the guide plate to the holding block the threads were too easily sheered off. I've yet to find new screws long enough to reach the deeper threads so I can work on my second lower. Overall the jig is great but the smaller set screws have to be at least an eighth to a quarter inch longer or they can be very easily over torqued, stripping the threads on the block and causing a major headache. |

AR 15 jig By: Timmy Lee on 02/23/2014 11:15:19 AM
Very good product, engraving on plates would have been nice but not essential. There are drill bushings on only one side, they should be on both. There should be bolts close to the line-up pins. When used in a milling vice, you MUST use c-clamps to hold the jig together. I looked at other jigs and these looked like the best. |

Long Lasting Anodized Jig By: Drayegon on 09/22/2013 03:56:42 PM
This Jig has made at least 122 Lowers I know of. with no wear and tear. I love this jig I would not have one of the raw cheap single use ones. Still this one is great. I have used it with both a milling machine and a drill press. so it works like it is supposed to. dray |

easy enough By: WCmachine on 11/09/2012 01:12:59 PM
jig is very well made. I used this and a simple drill press to make 5 80% ARs. |
