AR308 DPMS 80% Lower

Great value, questionable overall quality but finished product works so what else can you ask for? The detent and spring hole for the selector switch was undersized so I had to drill it out to make the selector functional. Before that it just spun freely. The pivot pin detent and sping hole seems slighter deeper than it should be because the pivot pin holds but it should be tighter. I am contemplating adding another detent before the spring and then cut down the spring to make it tighter. The takedown detent and spring hole was incredibly deeper than it should have been, causing me to re-thread the hole to allow me to use a 1/2" #4-40 stainless steel set screw to hold it in place behind the end plate. Before I did this the takedown pin never stayed in, there was never anything in any instructions or in the lower parts kit to explain this. I had to figure this out on my own. I should also note that I ordered stainless steel set screws from SI Defense for the bolt catch because the standard set screw that came with the DPMS LPK broke almost immediately.

Purchased my lower back in April, milled the lower the old fashioned way. With a drill press and a lot of patience.Alodined the mill area and it came out great. Have added the lower parts kit and the butt stock. Counting the days until the upper comes in.

I received 5 of them this morning, as soon as my uppers show up I will start milling them!
