The Satellite Ruck was developed to meet the needs for a mid-range patrol pack smaller than the massive Atlas Ruck, but with substantial modularity beyond a lightweight mission specific pack. A key feature of the ruck is the ability to directly attach the Ares Armor Combat XII Pack for additional stowage, but also the option to detach this smaller kit to take only the necessary supplies on shorter patrols and dump the large ruck for retrieval at a later time. This ultimate modular pack system also allows for additional customization with PALS webbing on the outside of each pack to add pouches and additional MOLLE compatible gear.

The Satellite Ruck is manufactured in the US with 1000D Cordura Nylon and mil-spec hardware. It also comes with the padded Atlas Shoulder Straps and Kidney pad, as well as a standard Alice frame for comfortable carry. An integrated top flap includes organization pouches as well as a panel with nylon daisy chain and webbing for securing small tools. The Combat XII Pack is not included.
